Long-Term Boarding
A long-term boarder is any pet staying more than 14 nights.
There must be a scheduled exit date. This is required so that we know when the space will be open for new reservations. We are unable to schedule "open-ended" long-term boarders.
Payment for the total nights of boarding (from check-in date to scheduled exit date) must be made at the time your pet is checked in. This can be paid in cash, by check or by credit card. By providing a credit card number and expiration date, we can also bill your credit card at specified intervals if preferred (see below).
Please call us if you need to change the scheduled exit date. We may be able to accommodate your request if the space is not reserved for someone else. If the boarding is being extended for more than 7 additional nights, payment must be made in advance in order to extend the reservation. Payment can be mailed to us in advance of the extension or a credit card number can be given over the phone.
If you make no attempt to contact us and your pet is not picked up on the scheduled exit date or if payment for an extension is not received, we will consider your pet abandoned: ownership of the pet has been surrendered to our clinic and we will dow dowith the pet as we see fit. For this reason, it is of extreme importance that you contact us as soon as possible if you are unable to pick up your pet on the scheduled date.
