“Ella” Dority is an almost 2-year old Yorkshire Terrier, who came to our clinic in August 2008. She had had trauma to her front left leg, and x-rays showed that she had a fracture of her forearm (the radius/ulnar bones). Dr. Mike Strobel performed orthopedic surgery on Ella, and a bone plate and screws were placed to stabilize and repair this fracture. Her leg was splinted, and after 10 days the splint and sutures were removed, and she has been doing great ever since! She was a brave girl and an excellent patient, and a very sweet dog to work with.
